Ingredients:
Pork shoulder:
- 500 g of pork shoulder
- Salt, pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- 500 ml of chicken stock
BBQ sauce:
- 250 ml ketchup
- 16 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 24 ml apple cider vinegar
- 12 ml soy sauce
- 4 g garlic powder
- 1 g allspice
- 2 g smoked paprika
- 4 g steak spices
- 36 g brown sugar
- 4 g yellow mustard
- 28 g molasses
- Pepper
Preparation:
Pork shoulder:
Put all the ingredients in a slow cooker, cook at 200 °F (very low temperature) for 8 hours.
BBQ sauce:
Put all the liquid and dry ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
Then add the ketchup off the heat. Cool and set aside.
Pulled pork:
Remove the bones from the pork shoulder and shred the meat using a fork.
Mix the meat with the BBQ sauce and serve in hamburger buns.
