About us
Our Story
Marc-André Jetté, chef-owner of the Hoogan and Beaufort restaurant, is proud to present Édouard & Léo, a local butcher shop that also offers its services online.
For many years, Marc-André has been a strong advocate of collaboration in his community and has always strived to promote high quality local products. The idea of opening a butcher shop that honors local producers with the best animal breeding practices came naturally and is in line with his values.
In order to really help local producers and to value their work during difficult times, Édouard et Léo butcher shop is a tribute to all the farmers who paved the way for today's artisans.
Our mission
Édouard et Léo butcher shop is committed to offering you fine products of exceptional quality, while promoting the incredible know-how of small local producers. As we are strong supporters of local cuisine, you will find a wide range of local cuts of meat as well as ready-to-eat products concocted by our artisan cooks.
Because we understand that your time is a precious resource and that you don't always have the opportunity to come to our Ahuntsic or Hochelaga location, we also offer our products online. With an online ordering and delivery service in Montreal, we want you to be able to plan your meals easily and quickly, whether it's for a weeknight dinner or for special occasions.
Our mission at Édouard et Léo is to offer a simple and rewarding experience with superior quality local products.

SUSTAINABILITY
So that all of our fellow citizens can enjoy exceptional products for generations to come, so that our partners can make a decent living from their production, so that our employees can look forward to spending their careers in a demanding, yet rewarding and caring environment.
Who are Édouard et Léo?
This name is a tribute to the producers and growers who have shaped rural Quebec. Actually, Léo is Marc-André's grandfather who used to work in the Charolais breeding business to feed his family, while Édouard is a third generation farmer and the grandfather of his partner.
