The Édouard et Léo butcher's shop is signed by Marc-André Jetté, chef-owner of the renowned restaurant Hoogan and Beaufort, and his team.
For several years, he has advocated collaboration in his community and he always strives to promote high quality local products. The idea of opening a butcher shop promoting local producers therefore naturally emerged and is in line with its values.
Who are Édouard and Léo? This name is intended as a tribute to the producers and cultivators who have shaped rural Quebec. In fact, Léo is Marc-André's grandfather who worked at the time in the breeding of Charolais Blanc to feed his family, while Édouard is a third generation farmer and the grandfather of his partner.
