Whole Quebec Guinea Fowl

Roasted, grilled, stewed or braised, Quebec guinea fowl can be prepared in many different ways. However, guinea fowl is a meat that is consumed while it's still pink and you must be careful not to overcook it. With its tender, lean and high-protein meat, it can easily replace chicken in your recipes to add a touch of originality!



Our guinea fowl comes from the Kégo-Cailles Farm in Cap-Saint-Ignace, a family business specializing in the production of fine poultry since 1988. Our guinea fowl is fed with an entirely vegetal and antibiotic-free mix of barley, wheat, corn and minerals, which results in an exquisite and tasty product.

Cooking tip

- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Place the guinea fowl at room temperature and lower the temperature to 400°F.
- Leave to cook for about 1h to 1h15, basting regularly.
