Pogo de saucisse Toulouse

Toulouse sausage pogo

A simple but delicious recipe that will delight young gourmets and adults alike!

Ingredients :
- 6 homemade Toulouse sausages made from Beaurivage pork
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 135 g of corn flour
- 110 g of all-purpose flour
- 40 ml of brown sugar
- 5 ml of baking powder
- 1 g of salt
- 2 whole eggs
- 250 ml of 1% milk

Method:
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Then, in another bowl or using a mixer, combine the milk and eggs. Add the mixture of flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt, stirring with a whisk.
until you obtain a homogeneous paste. Reserve 1 hour in the fridge.

Quickly grill the Toulouse sausages until halfway cooked. To book. Cut the sausages into 3 equal pieces and skewer them. Preheat the fryer to 350 F. Then dip the sausages one by one in the mixture and place them one at a time to prevent them from sticking. Cook until the dough is golden brown.


Serve with yellow mustard or ketchup
