A simple but delicious recipe that will delight both little foodies and adults!
Ingredients:
- 6 homemade Toulouse sausages made from Beaurivage pork
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 135 g of cornmeal
- 110 g of all-purpose flour
- 40 ml of brown sugar
- 5 ml of baking powder
- 1 g of salt
- 2 whole eggs
- 250 ml of 1% milk
Method:
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Then, in another bowl or using a mixer, mix the milk and eggs. Incorporate the mixture of flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt while whisking.
until a homogeneous batter is obtained. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Quickly grill the Toulouse sausages until half cooked. Set aside. Cut the sausages into 3 equal pieces and skewer them on kebab sticks. Preheat the fryer to 350 F. Then dip the sausages one by one into the mixture and place them one at a time to prevent sticking. Cook until the batter is golden brown.
Serve with yellow mustard or ketchup
