- Marinate the piece of brisket for at least one night before cooking.
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Meanwhile, sear the brisket on all sides, then place in a dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for at least 4 hours then check for doneness. If the meat detaches, cover with the sauce of your choice, close aluminum foil and cook for 1 hour more.
- Take out of the oven, leave to rest for 30 minutes then serve
